I just noticed this morning that my golden retriever's ear has swollen up. It's not in the ear canal but rather the ear flap. It's like a squishy small baloon. Has anyone ever come across this before or have a remedy for this?

This was in my friend's bathroom and it was moving around in an extremly strange fashion! I've shown it to a lot of people, only one person provided an answer, saying it was mosquito larva, but a Brazilian friend of mine said it was DEFINITELY not...

I found this guy on my wall in my apartment. I've seen these before, but I never really knew what they were. Some kind of larvae? That's a dime in the pictures, so you can tell that he's really small. Any ideas?
