Tradescantia pallida is correct but some mistake it for a form of wondering jew.

It's just plain old purple jew.it is a wondering jew.It will bloom small white or purple flowers and hang to the floor when it is mature. They make beautiful hanging pots.

I've always known this as Moses in the Cradle. A bit different from wandering jew. The stems are more succulent and flowers appear as if in a cradle

Not wondering, wandering.

Hey bartender is right...only I thought it was Moses in a boat.....whatever. what is a plain old purple jew? I thought jews were white. maybe that's not the plain old kind. Maybe only the newer vaireties of jews are white. So that answers the question of what color Jesus was. Not black. Not white. But PURPLE of all frigin things!
