What is this bird?

Description:

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I saw this in Kings Canyon National Park, California.

That's a Stellar Jay, I think. Obnoxious things. We've got a couple that hang around our house

Stellar Jay is correct, they are not obnoxious though, I like 'em.

Stellar Jay, aren't they cool. I live in the west and we primarily get brush jays. I like the jays also. Even though they appear to be agressive, they are just friendly and not very afraid of humans.
