Description:

This was in my friend's bathroom and it was moving around in an extremly strange fashion! I've shown it to a lot of people, only one person provided an answer, saying it was mosquito larva, but a Brazilian friend of mine said it was DEFINITELY not.. Their house was recently flooded, and people had left communal outside bins in a neighbouring room at one point as well, so it could have come in that way? Location: Galway, Ireland

It's a silverfish. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverfish will give details of these insects and how to get rid of them.
