HOUSE PLANT Description:This plant has dark heavy feeling leaves and has a 5 sided column that grows up the stem. The colum is way bigger than the stalk. It has little insignificant light brown flowers and drops tiny seeds. If you happen to know the name of it would appreciate. Was told it may be in the ginger family but can't find it there either. I've read that this is called a rubber plant, supposedly it's supposed to be good for allergies or something similar to that.

Don't know what it is, but I know it is it *not* a rubber plant! It's fascinating! If you do find out what it is, please let us know. Beautiful!
