Description:

Im about to hang a coatrack up.i have kids in the house what anchor would work best for hanging the coatrack??

Ideally you would screw into studs. The hollow wall anchors require a much smaller hole than the toggle bolts if that is a concern. Either one should hold enough weight if installed properly.

Studs are, in fact, best. Failing that, go to Home Depot and buy "wall dogs" in the hardware (nuts and bolts) isle. They are big screw in anchors you install with a simple screwdriver, and are good for 50 pounds of weight each. *hint* they are great for stripped out screw in door hinges.
