What's wrong with this pill? Description:This is a pill from OneSource prenatal multivitamins. All other pills look fine, but this one is scary, and because I take them at night, who knows if I actually swallowed one like that. Can anyone please tell me if this is dangerous to me and my baby, and what causes the pill to look like that? The pills expire 1 year from now. Comments:

I can't tell what caused that for sure but I would hazard a guess something went horribly wrong in the manufacture process, possibly overheating the pill.
I would not take it. Why risk health issues to you or your baby?

it appears corroded, the glazed surface appears slightly molded: has it been in contact with water or humidity? Otherwise it may have undergone some redox process once in contact with air.
