Either regular window cleaner or you can make your own cleaner......vinegar and water. About half the bottle vinagar and half the bottle water should do it. Its the best mirror cleaner I know of too.

Do NOT use windex or regular window cleaner. I used to be a computer tech. The best thing to use is rubbing alcohol and a dust free cloth. (no paper towel either). Rubbing alcohol works great on your keyboard as well.

If you are using an LCD screen, do not use anything other than a spray bottle of 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water. Spray it on a lint free cloth and clean the screen in a top to bottom motion. Otherwise it might damage your screen.

If the screen is glass, you can use anything you like. If it is an LCD, you must never, ever use any product with ammonia - it will turn the screen purple and streaky. Aside from the alcohol solution, plain water should work fine. Never use paper towels, and make sure the cloth is very clean, and wasn't washed with fabric softener.

I'm kind of partial to the notion of distilled water rather than tap water.

If your monitor screen is glass, water and vinegar would do the job. For plastic flat screens, the trick is to find a soft enough towel that won't scratch the plastic, and any common rubbing alcohol would do fine.

The best thing to use with any monitor is a soft cloth dampened with distilled water.

Good old fashioned water (preferably distilled) and rubbing alcohol, mixed 50/50. Use a lint free cloth. Never use ammonia on any screen, even glass. It will take off enough of the anti-glare film to make things hard to see.

Just for emphasis, as mentioned above, spray the cloth, then wipe. Do not spray the screen.
