its fine if you take your bird out a lot, but the bigger the cage the better

Simple truth, this cage is probably not big enough for an African Grey. They're very complex animals, and will languish if they're stuck in a very small environment for long periods of time. Imagine leaving a 4 year old child in one room of your house for twenty hours a day. By mass, this is probably equivalent to putting any parrot, let alone an african grey, in that cage, and by intelligence, it's rather equivalent, as african greys are more capable than toddlers intellectually. For the first few weeks, you can keep it here as it learns where to do those things it needs to do, but either get a bigger cage or make sure the bird is out (with its cage door open) most of the day. This is the kind of bird that will pick the child locks on cupboard doors given sufficient time and motivation. Give it space and proper training, and it will amaze and please you at every turn.

just ask yourself, would you like to be cooped up in there your whole life? no?
then spend some extra dough and get the bird a bigger cage. cheap ass.

it looks fine. My african grey is in one about that size but you have to remember to leave the cage open a lot and give it time out of the cage for atleast 3 hours per day or else it might start pulling out it's feathers. a happy parrot requires a ton of attention.
I give mine loads of attention and he's doing great and he's friendly and happy and talks a blue streak.
